The natural world has fascinated me for as long as I can remember, with birds and mammals taking most of my attention, although I also enjoy the beauty of almost all types of wildlife.

I consider myself to be a wildlife watcher/photographer rather than a “lister”.
For as much as I enjoy seeing new species, I find it more fulfilling to watch behaviour and how a species interacts with others of its own kind or with other species. This approach lends itself to my photographic interest.
It maybe that you see less by number, but what you do see, you often see better.

Within the following pages I have attempted to share the last ten years of my wildlife watching and photography, both at home and abroad.
