Drinking Pool Hides

The drinking pool hides provided us with a lovely range of species to observe and to photograph.

Birds were arriving to take a drink throughout much of the day with a lull around the hottest part of the day.

The highlights of the day were an extremely characterful Middle-spotted Woodpecker plus the amazing experience on being eye-level with a Goshawk - even if only for a brief moment
