Botswana ~ Birds

Had this been a purely birding trip, then I believe I would have racked up a truly substantial list of sightings with a good number of "firsts". As it was, I still managed to identify 139 species and still have a couple of species that remain unknown to me.

Many opportunities were taken to capture images of birds appearing about, or near to, our vehicles. Other species though were limited to "record" shots.

Some frames were taken whilst other travellers were focussing their attention on sleeping lions.
